Broadband Infraco and Sentech enter into talks

two pointless corrupt and misdirected government mammoths being merged into one pointless corrupt and misdirected government mammoth.

Does it really matter?
 
Why merge? Two organisations can spend money, line the pockets of a few, delay and prevaricate, and sit idly on strategic national resources far more efficiently than one! Surely in the interests of 'job creation' one needs more such organisations, not fewer *sarcastic grin*
 
The headline of this news story should have been: 'Two donkeys having a chat'
 
Why was Infraco started in the 1st place if they want to merge it with Sentech? Wouldn't it have been easier in the first place to just increase Sentech's mandate to include fibre?
I think Infraco was just a BEE deal to start with. way to go minister. :(
