Hi guys, some advice please to a complete broadband novice

I am not sure who to use for internet access, have looked at iBurst, and Neotel, really don't want to get a Telkom line.

Will use my laptop to connect, but mobility is not an issue

mainly be used for webmail, video sites ( youtube ), gaming etc. pleasure not business

also, importantly, wife also uses laptop, but don't want wifey to see which sites I visit.

Help from the experts in the Mybroadband space greatly appreciated

ofc hey were here to help.. i would suggest neotel esp simnce you are going to use youtube . with iburst it will work out very expensive.. 200 bux per gig if u run out which im sure u will

or their new product Pay per use 1gig = R1000 so

so rather go neotel 699 for a 10 gig cap should cover you

anyway hiding form someone is np pm me for instructions

or msn me [email protected]

If you use Internet Explorer 8, there's a tool called "InPrivate Browsing",

If don't have Internet Explorer 8, make sure you delete your Temp files, cookies, history...etc whenever you log off.

And don't go saving your private files in the hardrive rather save onto a memory stick.

You don't say which area you are in, if you can get a friend to borrow his modem and test your signal and latency for gaming that would help you make the right decision.

I believe iBurst can send a technician to your location to test signal strength. (Shaun will have to confirm this)

I can't comment on Neotel. (I'm with iBurst)

Sorry, forgot to say where I am, I am in The Reeds, Centurion
