Broken Quest...

Hey Guys,

I just started WoW a couple days ago and am rolling a tauren Paladin

BUT I was doing the "In your Face!" Quest, where I need to shoot a "Captured son of Acceroc" in the face with a SFG, I went and popped one of the big buggers in the face, he died, but the quest didn't update, I now dont have the "SFG" anymore as its a once off use. But the quest still shows 0/1.

I am quite pedantic about these sort of things, how can I get the rectified?

You could cancel the quest from your quest log and go back to the original quest giver and get it again. That should allow you to retry the quest but it may or may not help you with the specific bug.

just make a ticket in game or get the addon called lightheaded, this adds a extra tad to your quests, which loads comments from wowhead, so if it is bugged someone will report it.

Seems like a buggy quest. twixt is right about abandoning the quest and then retaking it.

Go to wowhead and read the comments about the quest. There are some solutions on how to avoid the bug.

You need to be in the minefield where those Sons of Ac... walk up and down before you fire the SFG.

Cancel and retake the Q.

Keep the Cowadin and just /need on all huntard loot

Had the same problem, I just abandoned the quest and retook it.
