In what a private investigator called a carefully planned operation, a 55-year-old father and businessman is still missing after he was kidnapped in Bronkhorstspruit on Thursday.

Juca Leonardo, the owner of Pick n Pay in Brand is still missingonkhorstspruit, was last seen wearing dark blue denim and a blue polo shirt with Pick N Pay logo and his name on the shirt with a dark blue jacket, according to police spokesperson Constable Munyadziwa Ramovha.

His car, a Mercedes Benz G wagon, was found at Vesterpark (R568 road) with bullet holes in the windscreen.

Private investigator Mike Bolhuis told the Pretoria Rekord that ‘this kidnapping was well-oiled as the suspects were possibly heavily armed’.

Very sad indeed... But was bound to happen.
The family are well know in that town, they drive very expensive cars like Porsche, the G wagon and an Aston Martin to the PnP every day, so it is obvious that they have some spare change... Hopefully he is still alive and that the perpetrators are just after some of that money that the family obviously have.
 
Seems to be the in thing now with this countries fukface criminal element. I'm sure numbskull Cele is on top of the situation..

Also grew up in Bronkies. Really sad story. But that town went to the dogs years ago.

It's sad that our society has come to this. You work hard to become wealthy, and now you can't even enjoy your money by buying yourself nice things anymore, without painting a target on your back.
 
How does one fix this? Everything in this place that doesn't work, simply gets privatised. What will happen if every town's richfolk secretly puts together some mercenaries to just go shoot all the crims in the head with sniper rifles. If the police can't catch the crims, how will they catch the mercs :D Is that the only way to restore order in this place, by privatising justice?

An excellent plan if everyday life in this shithole was part of a movie. But it is reality and not a movie.

You forgot to add all the people scammed financially. I really hope you will be wrong about knowing a kidnapped person. Unfortunately I heard of 2 distant family members whose kids almost got kidnapped. My parents did not really know crime, except for each having a distant family member murdered on farms. But not anyone stabbed, robbed, hijacked.
