Brutal murder shocks town

Graaff Reinet - Residents of this historical town were shocked by the cruel murder of a police instructor.

Senior superintendent Erika Heunis, 36, was apparently raped before she was beaten to death with stones. There were supposedly three attackers, but by late on Tuesday police still refused to reveal any facts.

According to a source at the police academy where she worked, she was running as usual with police students along Mountain Avenue, a well-known hiking trial outside the town, when she was murdered about 3km from the turn-off to the road. Her attackers apparently laid in wait for her.

Amazing - she is in the company of police students when this happens.
Speaks volumes about not only our country, but the future police.

Happens all the time.
One is barely able to go outdoors in Europe for fear of one's life.

I hear Europeans are all upgrading to metal shutters on their house windows and bullet proof glass on their cars. Luckily, we live in SA - the most POSITIVE place on earth.

farm murders for example.... nothing stolen, no real break in, just plain horrible murders.....

it's all got the same tune

I'm not saying all black people are like that.

The black community suffers 10 fold at the hands of criminals compared to the white. Now this is not a justification of crime but the point is a career criminal doesn't (unlike some forumites) discriminate against his potential victims... He treats all his victims with the same contempt and disrespect.

I have 60 black employees working for me and each and every one of them has been affected by crime from rape to muggings to assault. We living in a inherently sick society but don't feel victimized cause you white. Everyone from every demographic is being affected by this plague!!!

white on black crime is much more prevalent than black on black crime. you've got your statistics in a knot. btw, there's a colleague of mine and i consider him a friend, and he is black.

i did say, not all blacks are like that.
