Try Wiru Link......they are a bit pricey but provide the same solution as Bitco with a few twists and differences. I also understand that they have more service towers available.

stay away if you can

I know this is late, I do. They're good.

you are soooooo lucky then. having ALL kinds of cr@p with them. support is non existent (they "apparently" fired a support staff member cause they werent answering clients - 3 months or so of no support answering, at least they now respond within max a week but getting results is a different matter). over a year now im battling. when it works its fantastic. but then when it goes down... yeah..

when it works ping is around 13 -> 30 with the odd spike to about 50ish. my dota ping (when its ok) is around 75 -> 100. its playable. titanfall at the time was also pretty decent at 200ish (EU servers)

it does this a lot (for me anyways) i have to permanently keep hlsw open to see if the connection is working or not.

this last week they seem to have blocked the entire mtn network (cant visit afrihost.com / any of our servers hosted in the mtn data center) and to dota IP's ...

every time ive gotten hold of them they promise to get back to me. today they finally get back to me

Problem should be resolved please revert back to us if the problem still persists

so i respond with no its not

C:\>ping www.afrihost.com

Pinging www.afrihost.com [197.242.144.102] with 32 bytes of data:
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.

Ping statistics for 197.242.144.102:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss),

now they are blaming IS (keep in mind mtn network is totally blocked.. and IS is just high ping - and its somehow IS's fault..)... in the year ive been with them* (see note below) i haven't been able to access their site / helpdesk interface / client area for most of that time. they keep blocking it lol.. why i have NO idea. all the helpdesk stuff comes with "your ticket has been updated click here for details" but yeah... doesn't load.

ive apparently got a very good connection so its not that im too far etc.

* complex has stupid rules.. the one trustee gets free internet so they have limited internet connectivity to just BSIT. so either move or use bsit are our choices

o also.. AUP is 100gb after which they say they half your line speed. we use around 100 so havent been shaped yet.. took quite a bit of asking around to find their AUP. not something they advertise

Just signed up with BSit and had installation completed 2 days ago...so far so good...on the 6Mbps line speed package...am consistently averaging about 5.6Mbps download speeds

So They coming tomorrow to install - gone for the 2Mbps uncapped package. will update on the progress as time goes by

I upgraded from 2Mbps to 6Mb but it seems I'm only getting 4.3Mbps through and an occasional spike at 5Mbps per second.

Have you ever had that or know of their throttling after a specific usage?

Logged a support call as every few hours I have to unplug and re-plug the dish and router as internet comes to a standstill, currently getting under 1Mb from speed test:

Hi All

I have now been with BSIT for about 2 months and my experience is horrible so far. Currently paying for a 6MB uncapped home package but have only seen it peak at 5.5MBPS once and that was on the day of the install. I have a AVG speed of 2-3 MBPS and they shape/throttle my torrents into the ground. (Takes 3 days to download 5gig of data)

There is constant packet loss on the connection making any type of online game unplayable. They have really friendly support as I have called and logged about 20 tickets. Each time trying the same thing to resolve my connection speed, which clearly does not work.

My reason for posting is to share my experience and advise against signing up with them, this is just my opinion and experience. Mabe if you are right next to their tower you would have great internet.

What is with WISP's and their seriously overpriced services??
Am i missing something here? This should be much cheaper than regular ADSL. Shouldn't it?

I can't seem to understand why they advertise their prices without VAT. Even though they say prices exclude VAT it can be rather deceitful.

Well Currently my 6Mb is peaking at 5.2Mbps this week but at least throttling isn't too bad so far getting over 4Mbps during the day.
