Bubble Tea

I tried it oversea's. Its an interesting concept especially with the tapioca balls, but i think it doesnt have a long term place in the market.

Looks interesting, would love to try it though.

Does look (and sound) interesting but doubt I'll enjoy the presence of the tapioca balls. If it's anything like boeber (texture wise) I'll have to give it a miss.

I've had flavoured bobas on frozen yoghurt and they're terrible, perhaps the tapioca ones are better.

I had these in Austin like.. 8 years ago. Horrible stuff, tried it once and felt like I was choking.

The tapioca tastes like nothing at all. I'm gonna try all the other stuff eventually (hopefully they don't close down).

The tapioca's attraction is the texture which is chewy. It's so cool sucking them up through the straw and then chewing on them; such a strange yet amazing experience.

I love the stuff.

There's a shop in Clearwater Mall called Coco's. Sells all diff kinds as well.

Another shop is in Greenside called Happy.me not as good IMO.

Also a good place is Live Mart in Montague Gardens. They also do Chinese cakes.

Their machines are awesome too. They dispense all the stuff in this shaker thing and then put it in a shaking machine. When it's done they have a machine that sticks this wrapper over the top to seal it. The straw then makes the hole.

I also downloaded some app they told me to and when you have one you scan a code thing into your phone and once you have 10 scans you get a free drink.

These things are VILE. I had the Milky Hazelnut with coffee bobas in - I almost threw up. The hazelnut milky stuff was so horrible!! Omg! I don't know if they made it wrong but it tasted so artificial. That bobas - eeuw!

R29 for this and I had to force myself to drink it - never again.

I had a few of these this at a Taiwanese shop.

To me it tastes like watery Nesquik.

Eating the tapioca balls is just a nuisance. I'm that boring :)

have tried it twice, at a shop in clearwater can't think of the name now...

...it was an odd sensation the first time, the 'rubbery' balls, it's kinda sweet but now I like it
