I could stretch my budget but not by much. What size power supply would i need? And where is the best place to get a cheap case? Gonna get a monitor from a friend but the case, psu and keyboard i have to buy. The HDD i can just get a cheaper smaller sized one for now and upgrade at a later stage so it doesn't worry me too much. With ram is 4gigs enough?

I just put this together, some stolen from Wesley's guide on NAG,

Motherboard (R966): http://www.wootware.co.za/asrock-h81-pro-btc-lga1150-atx-motherboard.html
This MB will allow you OC the G3258 CPU See: http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2389948
CPU (R781): http://www.takealot.com/intel-g3258-pentium-processor-3-20-ghz-3mb-cache-skt-1150/PLID32732295
RAM (R572): http://www.takealot.com/corsair-value-select-a-4gb-ddr3-dram-desktop-memory-1600mhz/PLID32582993
HDD (R708): http://www.takealot.com/seagate-barracuda-1tb-hdd-64mb-cache-sata-3-6-0gb-s/PLID32711463
Chassis (R396): http://www.rebeltech.co.za/683-zalm...-design-1x-usb30-2x-usb20-audio-in-out-c.html
PSU (R583): http://www.takealot.com/corsair-550w-vs-series-power-supply/PLID32583023
GPU (???): ???

R4006

This leaves you without a GPU which you can decide how far over budget you want to go. CS:GO like other Source engine based games don't really have heavy GPU requirements. Something in the price range range of a GTX650/750 will be plenty to play CS:GO
4GB RAM is fine, you can always add some more later should the need arise.

Anybody got any suggestions for a GPU in the R1500-R1800 range for AndrewB05? Best bang for buck so either amd or nvidia, whichever is better.

@Ponder that's a pretty awesome build. The OP can just add some RAM and upgrade the CPU later on if need be but the architecture used in the G3258 will be sufficient for a year or 2 with DX12 coming.

Wow guys thanks so much for all the advice. Lots of stuff to go through and i always research the crap out of stuff before i buy but you have given me the best options. @Ponder that build looks good and in my budget so will just look up reviews for all the parts and tinker a bit if i feel i need too. I know this is a small budget but its a lot of money for me so i'm not going to rush into buying anything.

Be careful with the MB, not all H & B series boards will allow you to OC the CPU, have a look at that Anandtech link I posted.
Also have a look at that video I posted earlier to get an idea of the performance, granted you will be getting a lower spec GPU. If only we paid the same as for stuff in the US....but we can only dream.

Oh that chassis you can get from wootware or takealot (can't remember now) for R5 more if you want to limit the amount of suppliers which is probably a good idea.

Let us know how it goes and shout if any questions.
