Budget Soundbar

Those were surprisingly good for the price. Couldn't believe they played as loud and clear as they do. Eventually my nephew liked them so much he claimed them for himself. I'm actually looking to buy the higher powered set for myself now.
Probably going to settle for this ..

Just bought this for myself now:

Designed by Danish acoustic master Peter Larsen, nogal! Should get it on Thursday... Really hoping the sound quality of Microlab is as good as you guys have said. Can't wait to test them!

The 3 sets I've got of Microlabs haven't been bad at all.

^^^ So my speaker system arrived...

Very happy with them! My neighbors aren't though :sneaky:
Thanks for the Microlab suggestions guys. Great quality sound for the price. No it's not Bose, but hell, for what you pay it MORE than holds it's weight!

Which one did you end up with? There were a few microlabs thrown around :)

I agree. I bought this one, which I think is the same thing you're talking about, for my parents in December. I would rather read subtitles with no sound than have to experience that POS again. It was faulty the day I got it. Had really arb controls. Sound quality was **** (bass was too overpowering, no way to turn it down). I think a rotten potato could do a better job.

For myself though, I bought this for about R2400 at the time, and haven't looked back. I am really happy with the sound quality.
The rec room at work has one (or a similar one since it looks the same) and it's decent. Decent sound and looks sleek.

Just an update , I settled for the microlab , best 300buxs I spent on budget speakers.. The bass is amazing , perfect for my room setup ..

Which Microlabs :-) there were a few options floating around.

Think He is talking about these
Oh if that's like any of the 3 sets I've got at home than they will be decent.

These are the ones I've got at home
https://www.takealot.com/microlab-m100-ii-2-1-speaker-black/PLID45283272 - Not to bad for an entry level set
https://www.takealot.com/microlab-fc361bt-2-1-bluetooth-speaker-with-discrete-amplifier/PLID53331012 - These surprised me, really good sound, decent connectivity and even like the look.
https://www.takealot.com/microlab-2-1-speaker-with-bt-sd-card-reader-usb-fm/PLID54855366 - Also really good bass, overall sound production is probably close to the first set I got.

Have completely forgotten to get my replacement set, but looks like the m300 is going to be my choice as well. Possibly the version with the Bluetooth that Lupus had.

Really not bad, haven't used the bluetooth though :-). I got it second hand from a buddy who was emigrating so no manual not even sure if it came with a remote :-)
