Protective laws exist due to the typically asymmetrical power in an employer-employee relationship. It makes no difference whether other employers have the same practices. Or whether deception is involved. Someone desperate for work will sign almost anything. However if there are issues with the employment terms or the living conditions or treatment in the workplace the appropriate measure is rectify that situation rather than close down the business. As we should all know closing down brothels doesn't make prostitution go away or help any of the women, and I see no reason to believe going after strip clubs would be any different. And to anyone who says this type of job is horrible I must ask what would these women be doing if they couldn't do the work they do?

Prostitution, or starving. In the case of prostitutes the other option is just starving...
Strip cubs and brothels provide a living for those who have no better option or who just want easy money. I think they're both necessary.

I've been to a few strip clubs in New Zealand. They seem to take care of the girls there, they have big scary bouncers to deal with anyone that bothers them...
Of course I don't see what happens behind the scenes.
 
Its pretty standard practice to pay the club a amount a week.
My brother had a friend who danced at teasers a couple of years back. She put herself through varsity and drove those 1st yellow Audi A3's when they came out all from money made there. Her parents were really poor and couldn't pay for varsity ect so she made a plan. kuddo's to her ;) last I heard she is a lawyer in the cape somewhere. So ye dont think all strip clubs are evil places and not all strippers stupid that need to show tits to buy crack.

BTW doesnt personal trainers at a gym also follow this pay model where they pay the gym a weekly fee?
 
These people make so much money. Lollipop lounge for instance the really hot girls charge 2.5k for a shag and i think it's only half an hour.

Now add in a few shags plus dances they can easily make 50-200k a month.

After years of studying I can only dream about this kind of money. Maybe the money spent on university fees would have made a better return if I spent it on a sex change :erm:
Then I will have boobies to play with whenever I want, hmm...
