Right, Bought Batman: Arkham Asylum PC version. Started playing, freaking good game. Got to where batman is up on this platform and has to move right to knock out the fan control and theres a bad guy hanging on the rope. Only all of a sudden the platform disapiers and so do all the bad guys. When I restart the mission I cant see the bad guys and they beaat the crap out of me. Any one else had this with B:AA or is it maybe something to do with my hardware.

If you reckon it may be hardware related - it may come in handy to post what rig you're running.

But I doubt it - unless you're having problems elsewhere, with other games and software that is.

Nah, you should be sailing through the game with no issues.

Perhaps try google and see if there's any mention of the issue.
Otherwise I'd try a re-install, if that doesn't work.
Take the game back and get another copy of it.

Thats what I thought. But something is wrong. Non of my other games are doing this. What could be the problem?

No idea.

I never bought the game - worked just fine for me :D

But perhaps some file got corrupted with the install.

But I really couldn't say.

Hope someone else comes along - I gotta hit the road.
Good luck man :)

Ok. will google now. I hate struggling with issues though, I don't want hassles with a game, it's supposed to be fun not a chore. If I have no luck I'll takeit back, pitty, it's a flipping fun game.

thanks.

It is a helluva fun game and I feel the same about it man - should work out of the box.

Cheers

Thanks dude.

It seems there is a patch out for B:AA so maybe just search download and install see if that fixes the issue?

Otherwise as Shake said re-install.

It sounds like abad save maybe.
Can you go a stage or few sections back and see if the problem comes up again?

I know that the anti piracy protection for the Batman game, did the same things. Players falling through the floors and walls once the game detected it was counterfeit.

Just a thought :P If its a copy, could be that.

Yep, just wanted to post that

You Pirate!! :D

Nope, it's 100% legal copy bought from Incredible Conection. I think that my PC is over heating though, because when I started the game this morning it is now working fine. Can it be overheating that is causing the game to do this? Even though the other games are working fine?
