Seriously though, that hasn't been proven - far from it. Telkom is so far the only company that is truly trying to screw us. The DoC has been blocked in their efforts and NeoTel is only just starting. Recent developments can only lead to good things once they mature. Have patience and have hope.

The prices are not going to drop. It may even rise. It has been proven over and over and over and over... that the fat cats in the high buildings are all a bunch of greedy psychopaths. They have no respect for the consumer, they don't mind if we are choked of our last penny, they will even risk their entire company by not being competitive - as long as they (yes, a handful of board members) can have a fat salary at the end of the month. Finished raping the company, they will go on in search of a new host which they can parasitise on.

When will we ever learn.

I don't get how people can say this when prices have been dropping ever since ADSL first came to SA. Of course prices will drop. But next year when they do everybody will still be complaining and will all have forgotten that they said it would never drop.
