Building a new PC (yes, another thread)

Yeah if you're using it for games primarily I agree it's not really worth it. It mostly helps in general application launching time & usage, my logic was everybody does a bit of that every now and then!

PostmanPot gave me some good suggestions and he also pointed out my selection of a good, but rather outdated GFX card. Compared to my current setup, it's a huge step up, but I realise so are the rest of the components. Cutting down on the cost of a case seems like a good idea in order to get a better GFX card. But yeah, let me put all your good suggestions together and see what I come up with.

I finally got my new PC. Went with AMD in the end and so far, so good! Only built it last night, so haven't really done much yet. :)
