Bulk upload into a Whatsapp group

How can I upload bulk contacts into a WhatsApp group without adding them one by one and without sending out a link.
I have the names and contact numbers in an Excel file.

I suspect such automation doesn't exist in order to prevent abuse / spam.

Not possible as far as I know. I had the same thing about 4 months ago and had to add them one by one.

handy things to do beforehand: prefix a unique label/tag to each name to easily identify when adding to group
