WhatsApp officially rolled out guest calling, a feature that lets users invite people without a WhatsApp account to join 1:1 and group voice or video calls via a browser link.

How Guest Calling Works

• Create a Link: Open the Calls tab in WhatsApp, tap the "+" icon, and generate a unique call link to share with anyone.
• Browser Access: Guests click the link on a mobile or computer browser, type in their name, and join without downloading the app or creating an account.
• Host Approval: Guests enter a waiting room first, and the host must manually approve each guest before they can join the call.
• Call Capacity & Limits: Calls are free, end-to-end encrypted, have no time limits, and support up to 32 participants.
