Bulls rock Thread

The experience of the bulls showed on saturday. There was no panick even after they were behind half time and missing two tries due to stupid handeling errors after pinning the Force in their 22 for the first 20 minuts or so.

The bulls did not look their best BUT if this is what a bulls side can do on a bad day at the office I might be tempted to think that soweto must make themselves ready for a Super 14 final ;)
 
Our first loss of the season :(

O well it had to happen some time.

We played crap. The basic things like ball handeling and NOT TAKING A FAST THROW IN WHEN YOU AHVE THE BEST LINEOUTIN WORLD RUGBY (:mad:)....
I feel that we had a really bad day at the office and I really doubt if the bulls will show a repeat (crappy) performance of this weekends rugby soon.

Kuhn and Jaco Pretorius are both out for a week or 2 :(

probably their worst game of the last 2 seasons, it was terrible, really had to give a good effort to get through the 80-min.

But lets hope they caught a wake up now, and will only get better from here on, 1 bad game doesn't make a season [except in the final ;)]
 
I saw several instances where Wynand was just plain bad. A few handling errors and knocking and it cost us dearly. We are going to simply have to up our game against the Chiefs. They will be out for S14 Final redemption...

It happened last season and the bull absolutely killed anything and everything after that "pathetic" game :)

Hope it is the same this year!
 
Lucky for the likes of Spies, Gary and FDP today .... they did awesome and massive hard graft. Rest of the team were lacklustre overall, well, apart from that litey at 14, he's a firecracker in training :D

See that is the thing with the current bulls side. They are really really good and even if they play pretty well people will think they are a bit "lacklustre".

Like I have said before. If my team can still win overseas with an below par performance and beat a team like the Chiefs by 10 points or more and take home the bonus point.... why complain.

33-19 to the bulls. 9 points in 3 games on tour is not by far the worste thing that could have happend ;)

Ps I wonder if the bulls focus more on rugby because they complain less about the ref and rather fix the problems they have....
 
Nice win for the Bulls. Going to watch it later. Got recorded on PVR for some rugger this afternoon (seeing as the Sharks are weekend off).
 
Wow we did so many things wrong and we looked like the sharks looked at the start of the year... Not in the mood to be on the field.

Morne Steyn had a very bad game, Danie Russouw is a twat and Fourie for once has also had a sub par game.

The backline next saw the ball, the forwards did not clear anything and we aimlessly kicked the ball back to the reds and had them run at us....

Ps can anyone explain to me why after the bulls scrumed the reds 3m back and the ball was out, we were still penalized ?!
 
The Crusaders look like they can slip in at the top. I hope the Bulls and Stormers can keep them out here on South African soil.
 
I said before we went on tour that we needed to get 8 points and I would be happy.

We got 10 but I am nothappy as we played so poorly against the reds that we could have easily gone home with 13 or 14. Thus opening up a 1 game (no bonus point) gap between us and the second place team (crusaders)...

But we are only playing one more game away from loftus iirc and that is the stormers. Atm they are in much better shape and a frame of mind than us and I would not be surprised if they beat the bulls. But I expect victory from all the other games thus giving us a top 4 spot.

I am just hoping the stormers can be 1st or second on the log and the bulls filling the other spot in the top 2 :D
