Bundle gone!!

I only use about 4MB per day. Check my emails and go on here during the week.
Now I see that I have averaged 30MB per day over the past 12 days.
I have checked the history on FireFox and IE. Only my history shows, so my kids cannot be using the internet.
If they use my sim (data only) with Mxit or FaceBook in their cellphones, would this use excessive data?
 
I use NetMeter and it does not show downloads to such an extent. Also, I have disabled the updates.

I have the same problems with MTN - I seem to be able to use my 2Gig bundle in less than 10 days - without updates / antivirus updates...started in June....prior to that - I hardly every reached my cap (and no, my internet use has not changed in anyway - just the size of my bills):(
 
Could have some spyware or malware on your machine that connects to the net everytime you're online. I had that problem before, id connect to the net and not open any explorer windows and I would just see data being received although I had no downloads running.

About facebook and mxit. Mxit would take about 4 months to use 4 megs of data. Facebook on the other hand can hurt your bandwidth badly
 
Can one use the data sim in a cellphone to phone out?

Same area as I am in and same problem it seems....:mad: my days of MTN are over - they don't give a damn about the piddly R4800 is spend with them so I'm cancelling my contracts and moving on....

I remember once i was surfing the net and i wanted to watch a streaming video on some site . I just loaded a 100mb data bundle in my phone . And in less then 3 mins my bundle was finished , and i didn't even get to watch the whole clip . Mtn sucks when it comes to these problems and trying to get some data refunded back in to yr acc forget about it .
