Bundle questions

Morning all,

I currently have a 75Mb bundle loaded on my contract. Looking at the prices of say the 500Mb bundles, it just makes more sense to rather load one of those. Now, here are my questions:

1. If I decide to load an Ad-Hoc 500Mb bundle today, will it be available immediately till the end of August?
2. Will I have the total of 575Mb available (taking the normal bundle into account)?

Can I add on more question?

If I'm told that my data bundle expires on 30/07/07 then when does it actually expire, at 23:59:59 on 29/07/07 or at 23:59:59 on 30/07/07?

If its the latter it will save me downloading all sorts of junk on the 29th just to use up the last 100MB!

You will have to deplete your existing Data Bundle to load the new one. I dunno if its the same for Contract customers, coz it happend to me last month(27th) where i had 3Mb's left on my Data Bundle, and wanted to load another 1Gig to that. I couldnt. Had to quickly deplete the 3Mb, and then load the 1Gig.

Take note i load my Data Bundle's through Vodacom4me

I think its the former. Becoz when i loaded my very first Data Bundle, i was confused to see the Date was 29days upon loading it(Loaded 12 July 2007, expiry date 11 August 2007).

So i think the Data Bundle expires 23:59:59. To be more precise 00:00:00. But shouldnt it actually expire the exact time of purchase? Becoz then it would not be exactly 30Days

Just be careful to check that you can view your usage of both your regular monthly bundle as well as your adhoc bundle, on the vodacom4me website. 'Cos if you cannot see the adhoc bundle in addition to the regular one, chances are you will have the same problem I did, where the Vodacom billing system only see's the adhoc bundle to bill for it, but the data usage (in excess of your regular bundle) is billed out of bundle. This happened in May, June and July!

They have investigated this and are crediting my account... but it may prevent high debit orders if you pick it up from the start and query it - stop the debit order or something.

My personal opinion, just change your 75mb bundle to a 500mb bundle, really quite inexpensive and you can surf to your heart's delight! Don't know if you can do that this month though, as you have already been allocated 75mb?
