Burger King Review

Who are these people who have nothing better to do than queue at 9.30am for an anemic bit of meat?
Get the MYBB interviewer and camera out there and get a broadcast done.
 
I went a few weeks ago. Ordered a chocolate milkshake, whopper, chips and chilli cheese nuggets.

The milkshake gets a 9/10, was close to perfect. The flavour and thickness spot on.
The whopper a 7/10, nothing special, Steers patty has more flavour, the bun tasted a bit stale for some reason.
The chips were disgusting, a 4/10, they were cold and soggy, even KFC does better chips.
The Chili cheese nuggets were great, 8/10, could be a bit spicier and more reasonably priced, was something like R24 for 6 nuggets.

Waited 20 minutes from ordering until we actually received the food.

Im still not happy with the waiting time once an order has been placed ... 20 min for such a
small order is not gonna keep customers happy!

yeah but there are tons others waiting for bigger orders and they cant go randomly based on size of orders

Akes did you leave work early :D

I get what u saying sam but my thing is they work very very inefficient in the kitchen stood
a while watching them ... places like mcd's seem to do it much better.
 
yeah i have seen that as well

the time i was there

all the stuff is ready but they confused and also they dont a PA system so you have to stand there and listen
 
Havent met a single person that likes their chips....

Also, I think they will get more effecient over time. I think the fact that everyone flocks to one branch is the problem at the moment. When more opens, it will be more manageable.

That said, I would say Mcd's is pretty well run with trained staff. KFC is tasty but they have the worst staff and seem to focus on cheap labour. Steers differs from store to store and Nando's is average I would say.

nope. got stuck in a nightmare traffic jam in the tygervalley area. not sure what happened. like someone rained cars. was very weird. he opted for primi in the end so i was happy. was damn cold last night.
 
Last week I went down at 11:00 and there was still a queue of 20 ppl - which lead me to believe - people are f#$%#king stupid

but if you also want to get some burger king. doesnt that also make you stupid?
 
The latest i've been so far was one night almost 10ish ... again only reason i went was
cause the wife neeeeeeded chilli cheese nuggets :} and the Q was almost out the door.

if you close by then its fine. besides for a run like that the wife will love you long time
 
It sounds like BK is making a killing in CT, a smart entrepreneur would open one in JHB....he/she would make a fortune.
 
They might be making a killing but IMO they are ruining their image with the bad/slow service, their pot luck chips & half cooked chicken. Obviously they can't meet the demand and then quality suffers. I suppose this will only matter to the discerning public. The sheeple won't care and will continue to go back.

I think we should start a Facebook anti-Burger King page :twisted:

naaah he was 17 yesterday...polished off a dagwood. i was like :wtf: thats a lot of burger...we must go through the kiddies meals again wiht the little one..

does burger king have a decent little people meal?
