Burger King Review

Bottomless drinks applies all day. So if you flash them your qualifying receipt and return through the drive-through, they will give you a refill. They will give you a refill all day, no matter how many times you return. If you order from the drive-through, it is also bottomless by the way.
 
Tried Bk a few times :

Whopper is nice
Big King my favorite (very cheese y :P)

The patties taste like steers patty :D

Chips are okay a bit pricey (kfc with breadish vibe) smells like toast :wtf: :D

Beware pickles are very pickle-ish :sick:

Still need to try the onion rings

But the disa bk needs to move faster ! (too many people as well)

Overall Bk exactly what i expected it to be (leaning towards steers) :)

I went there to buy prepaid electricity earlier on and I had to park down Pickering Street because all the parking spots at the Engen were taken up!:wtf:

That's good, but I just discovered something better: BK's chicken wings! They've got a mild spice and soft batter ... nothing at all like the hot wings at other places, but a really nice treat to share with a meal :)

Had a feeling it would be busy this weekend. Went there a few times during the week and the queues were small. :D
 
I haven't been since it's opened (maybe I should, it's pretty close to home) as I too want to avoid the initial rush and go after the hype has died down.

It's like what happened when Bay West Mall opened up; half of PE flocked there (not at all helped by the opening specials) on weekends, weekdays, evenings, whenever they could. Now the mall barely gets traffic during weekdays and they might be busy on evenings that the restaurants over there have specials or over weekends. So hopefully the hype dies down soon so I can go see what all the fuss is about :)

Dude, just go! Get a classic BK Whopper Burger combo, and some onion rings and cheesy chilli bites! Gotta have the whole experience.

Afterwards, you'll understand.

My only caution about BK is that I once went to a branch that didn't use fresh oil, so I just didn't go back to that branch.

Wrapped burgers are the way to go, no doubt.

Yeah, I haven't had the chilli options in a while, but it looks like they've changed it into a sauce right? Previously it was a little bit much, biting into thick slices of actual chilli 0.o
 
We have one BK branch in the Newton Park area. No, make that the entire PE.

Actually, looking at the map, the only BK in the province is 2km away.

In other words, it better be damn good:D

It's just a sauce. Extra long chilli cheese is one of my favourites also

ROFL wabbit, I'm sure it will be. You wouldn't want to risk the wrath of all of Port Elizabeth by delivering sub-par BK (and the true fans would KNOW). Just go and then share your experiences here, for those sitting on the fence!
