Burger Mayonnaise

I'm also interested to know how it tastes. Also is that Royal Ascot Spar?
 
If they sold this abroad it would be called: Burger Salad Cream. Or does Cross&Blackwell actually make proper mayo nowadays?
 
Normal mayo, please. Not this egg-less crap....and then the have the nerve to charge that much for it
 
Bought some of the Woolies branded stuff. And it's amazing! Made potato salad with it the other night - was awesome!
 
We have it, don't use it much.
I don't like Cross & Blackwell anyway - mayo needs to be creamy, not sour/tangy.

Also. don't put mayo on your burgers. only use pickles, mustard and ketchup.


just saying guys, lower your expectations or give it a skip if you don't like C&B anyway....

Can you remember the name please. I'm looking for proper mayo here all the time and we just don't have it. Except for Hellmanns.

When I go do my shopping I will check. Currently there is only Dursots mayonnaise here, don't even know how it tastes, my SO did Pick n Pay shopping. That German brand has a really long name and come in various variants, one has a very strong vinegar taste which nearly made me stop testing the others. Make your own mayonnaise, once you are skilled you will never go back to mass produced mayo.
