Burger Test Lab

Aha, but OP is a forward thinker....when he does eventually open a venue...people will remember. I bet he's posting one other forums as well, making use of every cheap/free avenue possible to plant the seed

Nope. Only posting here

Take anyone of his burgers, throw away the bun, wrap it in a large lettuce leaf and pay R20 extra because healthy always cost more.

Jeez after all the research I've done on buns and you want to replace them with lettuce?

nice bud ...the triple cooked chips ..does it take a long time ?

i was watching masterchef and anything that takes long is bad ..they had to sell food at a night market and the one had chips

he had 2 hours for the challenge and the 1st portion of chips went out after the 1hr mark

First two rounds can be done a couple of days before. You freeze then cook the third time. So easy enough of you prep properly

What happened to a smaller menu of simple burgers?

This is the long term menu. Events will have 3 choices. Two meat and one veggie.

As I experiment in the kitchen I come up with new ideas and add to the menu. Logistics will dictate what stays and what goes

In what kind of oil is the chips/onion rings fried? if it's some sort of saturated fat and not vegetable oil, I'll drive to your house every time I want a burger if there's no venue. R10 extra for a gluten free/wheat free bun, awesomeness. You'd be back where we were in the early days where burgers and chips actually didn't affect your health because of all the crap they do to oils+bread
