Yesterday, Sunday June 1st, i ordered a burning crusade cd key from this site http://www.picocomptech.co.za . I received an invoice email (automated response) which i payed, I am still waiting for my cd key. Or from any response from the owner of the site.

Hugo Decloedt. contact details - http://www.picocomptech.co.za/contact_us.php

I have bought cd keys and game time from this site before with success. But however this is the first time i have bought anything from the site since about August last year...

I think that Hugo Decloedt is no longer sending out cd keys but is leaving his site up in case someone does what i just did and deposit money in his account....

Is there anything anyone can suggest that i can do to go about getting my 280 bucks back....

Thanks for the quick response.

The events since my last post...

I found another mail address on the whois. Thanks. Mailed it. And i have got a response from the site owner. He informed me that he does not have stock of BC keys at the moment. At least i got a reply from him. (sent a few rash emails too).

Do you want me to edit my first post? The last thing i want to do is bad mouth his business if there is nothing more than a genuine misunderstanding in progress....?

Or shall i just keep the thread 'posted', (scuse' the pun) as to what happens next.......?

If you paid by paypal or credit card then you can dispute the charge on the basis that you did not get your stuff. Paypal normally reverses the charge within 7 days. The credit card companies a bit longer. If you did a bank transfer and you are unable to get hold of the site owner then you are effectively screwed. Banks will not reverse a charge without the account holder's consent. You could complain with the bank who could then dispute the charge. The receiving bank will then contact the account holder to confirm if they can send the mone back.

Thanks for the quick response.

Ain't going to help much... the damage is done :D

You should check these things before you ask us :o It might have just turned in to be a Ras that exploded in he's face :D

I have used http://www.gamersloot.net and have been happy with their service.

Just a quick question why did you just upgrade your account via www.worldofwarcraft.com ? that would be instant.

I have always emailed the site owners before purchase. If you dont get anywhere with the site owner, open a case of fraud against him, burn down his house, get his daughter pregnant, give his wife crabs and smash his car.

Thanks man. Your comment made me laugh.....

Actually, i did try upgrade my account on worldofwarcraft.com first. But there was a problem with the site and the upgrade page would just generate an error. I then tried to buy a cd key. I have since then spoken to blizzard and they said that there is a problem with the site and that many people were experiencing it.... I am unable to purchase the BC or apply for the 10 day free trial. Which i think may have something to do with why they havent sent me a CD key yet.

At the moment i am still waiting for my CD key. I am also fairly certain that they DO intend to send me one. They are just experiencing some difficulties. As far as i can see anyways....

I received a CD key from them towards the end of the day, but it was invalid. I replied asking for a valid CD key but.... who knows.

I suppose that is a rasp ?? Whatever that is. Unless they send me a CD key....

Has anyone upgraded to a BC account within the last week or two? Or is it just me. I still cant upgrade my account on warcraft.com

RAS = Report as Spam.

The reason why I RAS'ed it is the weird name of the OP, and also the fact that it was his first post.

Again, apologies from my side. :o

RAS = Report as spam

(there have been a few spammers on these forums so we're a little edgy when unknown links come up)

What game version are you trying to upgrade? Maybe you have a US account with an EU key or visa versa?

hey no worries...

im trying to upgrade a US version. I have tried that Cd key a few times now and still nothing. Is there any way to check which version a cd key is.......

Hint for the future

Hi

Just a little hint for the future, if you are playing WoW US, buy your keys and stuff from www.worldofwarcraft.com. If you are playing WoW UK (like me), buy your keys and stuff from www.wow-europe.com. These sites provide INSTANT delivery, as a matter of fact, so instant that I was kicked out of the game for not having BC installed :-).

Ciao guys and best of luck.

Email blizzard and tell this that picocomputers is selling fake cd keys and are this is against Blizzards policy. Send Blizz his email address, phone number, iq test, urine sample. And see what happens.

Or if all else fails (speaking from personal experiance) phone his wife, she will sort him out.

Or get your woman to phone his wife and she must say that he knocked her up, and she recently found out he has a std.

recent events:

Suddenly got a phone call from Hugo. Called me from the number on the website. He said that he gets his CD keys from a supplier and that he will take it up with them. "see what he can do" as he put it.....

I havent given up hope yet... im sure if they wanted to take my money they wouldn't bother phoning me. So i think they are trying.
