Busi hates on Thuli

Mkhwebane’s many questionable actions so far collectively suggest that she has no intention of protecting the public, and that she is only there to protect #presidentEvil.

IIRC there was a parliamentary committee that voted to accept Mkhwebane’s nomination for the public protector position, the DA opposed her nomination from the start, however all other party representatives including the EFF supported her nomination.

If Mkhwebane’s appointment really was a done deal even before that committee voted, it means that some committee members must have been given a corrupt incentive to vote for Mkhwebane.

Did the Guptas bribe some committee members to vote for Mkhwebane?

Point of correction, it's not just the members of the committee that had to vote for the PP, it' the whole parliament.

Is this actually proper language use?

Headlines do not conform to conventional grammar structures.
Grammar is often purposefully manipulated and used in correctly to grab reader attention and give an extremely broad synopsis of the story it titles.

So basically, misdirected, too broad, often lacking focus.

Is this the same parliament which has politically appointed members rather than democratically elected?

The same parliament that votes en masse to protect Zupta?

Maybe she is, maybe she isn't captured, I don't have much to form an informed opinion, all I see is nonsensical stories about her forcing staff to watch Gupta tv and her hating Thuli, it all sounds to me like a media that stil have a hangover over Thuli, (understandably so because she was brilliant) which are desperate to find anything no matter how useless to cast aspersions on the new PP.

U R Naive ....

Good question. Very good question.

Happens all the time, you must be used to it by now, new CEO takes over and the executives he found in the company starts leaving as the new CEO appoints his own people to fill the positions, I really don't understand what the fuss Is all about.

Lest we forget Thuli also did not get along with her first deputy, at the end of the day she was the last woman standing and her deputy had to move on, I also don't think Thuli inherited the staff of the PP office as she found it, sure she appointed her own people that she trust to work with her and certainly the media was not scrutinizing her every step.

The concern I'd have is if those employees are dismissed in a compliant manner, other than that it's all unnecessary drama.

And you've forgotten that she's willing to embarrass the country by cancelling an international event rather than be at said event with Thuli. In 6 posts no less.

Last month, Mkhwebane told the secretariat of the African Ombudsman and Mediators’ Association (Aoma) that the country – along with the African Ombudsman Research Centre, based at the University of KwaZulu-Natal – would not host the organisation’s conference if it invited Madonsela.
This kind of childish really shouldn't be in charge of an office as important to a country as that of our Public Protector

If parliament had voted before the ad hoc committee voted you would have had a possible point to make, however the sequence of events was as follows:

2016-08-25 The ad hoc committee announces that it has voted to recommend Mkhwebane’s appointment as public protector (except for the DA that voted against the SSA spy that loves #presidentEvil).

CAPE TOWN - Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane, an analyst at the State Security Agency, is now the front-runner to take over the reins from Public Protector Thuli Madonsela.

2016-09-07 MPs in the National Assembly vote to rubber stamp the ad hoc committee's recommendation to appoint Mkhwebane as public protector (only the DA MPs (79) vote to oppose).

2016-10-06 #presidentEvil's minions announce that he has appointed the spy that loves him.

Parliament simply went with the flow already established by the ad hoc committee and ultimately voted in the way that puppet-master #presidentEvil wanted MPs to vote.

The voting manipulation must have started with the ad hoc committee members, the National Assembly votes were simply rubber stamping what the ad hoc committee members had recommended.

‘Mkhwebane harbours no ill-feelings towards Madonsela’

JOHANNESBURG - The Public Protector’s office has responded to allegations that Busisiwe Mkhwebane harbours ill-feelings toward her predecessor Thuli Madonsela, calling them baseless and malicious.

Recent reports claim that Mkhwebane threatened to withdraw South Africa’s hosting of the African Ombudsman and Mediators Association general assembly in Durban if Madonsela attended.

Madonsela eventually sent her former deputy to collect her certificate on her behalf.

The Public Protector’s Oupa Segalwe says Advocate Mkhwebane noted the reports seen on various media organisations’ sites over the weekend and is disappointed at these allegations.

^ If Mkhwebane expects anyone to believe that she harbours no ill will towards Thuli Madonsela, Mkhwebane should start with an affidavit to that effect (with the prescribed oath).

Things are getting even more absurd, why would she do that?

At the moment she appears to be telling lies in media releases about threatening to pull sponsorship for the AOMA conference, however doing that in an affidavit under oath has strings attached that will unravel her tyranny. Arrogance would be the reason for "doing that".

Ok let me understand, what is it that you want an affidavit on, do you want her to do an affidavit confirming that she does not hate Thuli or an affidavit about her alleged threats on the AOMA conference?

You appear to be suggesting that these are somehow mutually exclusive issues that cannot be explained under oath in the same affidavit.

#presidentEvil's protector is welcome to write a multitude of affidavits, the more the merrier.
