Business Objects: Merging 2 Identical Reports

Hey guys,

Wonder if youll could help me - im new to business objects and am not sure of what it is and is not capable of. I have 2 identical reports (columns are the same) which are referencing 2 different databases/universes in Business Objects. I need to consolidate these 2 reports into 1 report, so that all data from the 2 data sources is in 1 report.

How do I do this in Business Objects - desktop intelligence?

create a new temp table and append data of both into one, run report from the temp table... Been out of the report writing game for ages now, probably better methods than my suggestion? I used to be quite good with Crystal Reports ...uhmm about 6 years ago

Is there any other way to do this? I dont own the universe hence adjusting the tables is a bit of an issue...
