Not forgetting the 45% import duty on clothing are we? And IIRC customs will charge you 14% vat on 110% of the value of the item. Gets expensive quickly.

I normally pick up a few when I travel to London on business, but also remember ordering online some time ago. Strangely didn't work out to much more that sticker price with all the taxes, etc.
If you do run into a TM Lewin store though, be sure to try the shirts - great quality at reasonable price.....

Used to buy them when I lived in London, excellent shirts and still going strong over 5 years.
Only downside is most of their shirts is double cuff, which works well in London, but not so common here for everyday wear.
At Woolworths the Trenery range of shirts are great quality. I have several. I bought a neck size that fits and then had the shirts tailored to fit properly. R500 - R800 each.
Cafe Cotton (stores in several malls) also does great quality shirts but they definitely need to be tailored before you wear them.
Worst quality in my experience is Hilton Wiener. Shirts fall apart. Buttons constantly come off. Not good for longer than a year.
