bussiness case for a new router (Help)

howdy, i have an office running around 35 +- users on 1 Netgear DG834 router / modem

now i feel its not going to do the job as well as i know it could be done Qos firewall bla bla

What could i put in paper to make my dumb A$$ boss see i need a new one ?

go out and buy a new one.. (company cant work without a stable network)

put it to him like :

a bog-standard router can't log internet usage and other fun stuff

a router in conjunction with smoothwall or ipcop will be able to monitor and log internet usage (and, in most cases) prevent bandwidth abuse.

What benefits will be a result of the change of router for a) the people using the network and b) the boss?
