Butter or Margarine?

10 Seconds in a microwave makes frozen butter spreadable.
10s in my microwave makes butter a pool of disappointment. I need to run it for like 3-5s. It's never perfect.

My microwave is also dumb and only lets me do increments of 30s, so if I get distracted for even a moment... butter ruined.

Margarine is just easier.

I do that, but everyone does not eat toast the whole day. Kids do not take toast to school.
So you'd rather feed your children processed, trans-fats? Margarine is absolute garbage - I wouldn't even use it to lube my garage door. Inflammation = sickness. How many people are oblivious to the seed oils, and crap they eat?

Relax @epah from Wish.com
If you want to stay away from seed oils you should never go to a restaurants or buy take-aways. I use mostly butter because it just taste so much better. My kids make their own sandwiches. Do you think a kid care if its healthy or going to struggle with hard butter?
Life if too short to daily think about what might kill you. Stop being paranoid and enjoy your life.
Ps we also drink water straight from the tap. Braai a lot on dirty grills. Have gas stove inside house. We all still OK.

Do what you want.

Google:
"Margarine is a blend of oils that are mostly unsaturated fat. Butter is made from cream or milk. The type of fat found in animal products, such as cream, is mostly saturated fat. Replacing saturated fat with unsaturated fat may lower the risk of cardiovascular disease."

That's true as long as the margarine isn't made from trans fat, if it is then its crap for you.

We have a Parmalat factory with factory shop close by. They often have over stock or stock that is close to expire date and sell it cheap.
Other day they had 500ml Fresh cream at R9 each. So we bought a bunch froze some and used 10 to make our own butter at R90 for 2.5KG of butter. You can freeze butter for use later.
