My budget is around R10-13K for a 3 seater. Currently I don't need more than a 3 seater.

-Any online shops recommended?
-What to look for and consider when buying a couch?
-Anything you bought in the last 5-10 years that is still manufactured and consider good quality?
-What would you buy/do differently if you had to buy a couch again?

I do have a dog that jumps onto the couch, although trying for her to stop, in the evening she still go sleep there.

I like this one in terms of comfort (doesn't look that pretty):

Wife like this one in looks and firmness, I don't find it relaxing:

For brick and mortar store recommendations, Uhmhlanga/ Durban / Pietermaritzburg/ Midlands

those are 2 seater couches in my book, if you are going to have seperate cushioning why would you design it to split right in the middle rather than per seating

If you are going with Cori-Craft, make sure the slip covers can be machine washed. We bought a GIANT L shaped couch for the TV room in light grey, cant be washed. Fail.

Test in a shop then order online. Always test the couch.

Make sure it's big enough to lounge on and be lazy on.

What I look for?
How does it look?
Basically if I sit how comfy am I - do I lean back too much, too up right?
Also if I'm lying down, what angle would my head/ neck be on that side arm - is it too high? Where would my legs end up?
As my kids are a bit older, how it handles spills and food are less of a concern but I mean it's still a thing.
And then the legs - are they thin, thick, how easy is it to lose things under.

Rule#1- Stay away from vinyl/ faux leather

Get a couch with a solid structure and high density foam, generally decent brands ( weylandts etc.) cover this well.
If you going fabric, get one with a decent "rub count".

Have a Bianca and Sontori...at some stage had a Kristi L too....you can not go wrong...stuff is made to last + slip covers last forever, just ensure you select scotchgard'ing

+ kindly check the inside of the couch...may just be millions of $ waiting...
