Buying Billion router from WA

Is there any major point in paying extra R500 for the Billion 7300N vs the 7300G? My desktop will always be wired obviously, and the laptop will mainly be used for browsing some downloading maybe...

In my experience Billions usually just work, more so than other preferred brands. There is a reason why most ISPs sell these now with their products.

if you in JHB/Pretoria/Cape Town you can collect at there store, if not they do deliver anywhere in South Africa

thanks for the info, i'll have a look. My main question though, is it worth forking extra cash for a 802.11n router as opposed to 802.11g... or is it something that wont make too much difference in my life?

well for R600 with wireless N its a good price compared to billions

Hi Tako

The billion 7300G and the 7300N are almost the same in all aspects. With the 7300N as you know it works on the 802.11n standard. If your laptop does not support the 802.11n standard then it will be pointless purchasing the 7300N, since your laptop will only work on the 802.11g standard you will still only be able to conenct at 54Mbps. So go for the 7300G. Very easy to use and reliable as well.
