I saw that portal 2 is avalible on g2a.com for $4 but you have to be in russia for the code to work and i was wondering if it was possible to use a vpn to buy the game and play it here in sa?

I'm sure you can purchase it without a vpn.

And play most probably on Russian servers only.

Why do you want to purchase region locked keys? Just because the price is low, the opportunity won't enhance your user experience and will rather make you use workarounds at an additional expense and time. G2A SHIELD has a 30 day trial this month, purchase a global Portal 2 key, the cheapest is priced at $6.56.

Region locked key probably means you'll have to use a VPN to play the game every time, otherwise Steam will tell you it cannot be launched from your region. I had that issue with Risen 2, which required me to use a russian vpn every time I wanted to play it.

Thanks for the response I decided not to buy the region locked one but instead bought the bundle wich turned out to be just as cheap.

Why is G2A charging me 1.31 Euros a month through my Paypal, but when I log into my G2A account there is no subscription listed there?
How do I cancel this thing?

Check that you aren't signed up to their wallet thing. You pay a monthly sub and then don't need to add a shield to each purchase (or something like that).

OK, thanks, it wasn't under my subscription, but one of my kids had made their own account.
Sorted now. Thanks.

You can buy it without VPN but to redeem the code you will need a VPN. Your actual problem will be the game is in Russian.
