Buying tv shows

Hi all

Apologies if this has been asked before.

Is there any place that I can buy a tv show / series, download it to my external hard drive, and watch it on my tv........LEGALLY?

Itunes doesn't work here, kalahari and amazon needs to be hard copies and I don't know if Loadtv is a good option.

Any ideas?

Didn't know there are still people out there opting for the legal route.
 
Why download? You're only going to waste hdds. Get Netflix instead. It's the best option if you like series.








I sound like another poster. :p Although he is right.
 
About the only truly legal option in SA is box sets.

I sense great wisdom in your comments.

But yes, rather just stream everything.
 
I find the prices way too high to buy them. You can normally get the DVD/Bluray for the same price as the digital download, you would think that it would be cheaper.

For instance Stargate SG-1 is $20 per season on iTunes, thats $200 for all 10 seasons. You can get the entire box set on Amazon for $151 or $142 from Amazon UK which includes 2 movies also.

Netflix and Hulu are a better solution for me, they don't have everything but they do have a ton of content.
