Good, more people need to leave NOETEL, they are just as bad as telkom, wouldn't be surprised if they are all 'watched' over by the same people.

FIBER internet is booming in every other country, shiiit, even in Kenya, Nigeria, Egpyt, Fiber is the future, but here in SA we are stuck with morons who make more than enough money to better the service but choose NOT TO, believe me it is a choice they have made, proudly. The corruption is deep, the top FAT cats still want to eat.

Don't knock Telkom ... after Neotel I promised never to talk bad of the Telkom!
 
I've been Neotel free since the 14th of June (contract terminated). Two years of paying heaps of cash every month for what exactly, I'm not sure. . . I got to keep the awesome :sick: prime telephone thing though. Yay!! :erm:

The fact that Neotel actually exists has me confused. I remember the deadline expiring in 1995 on Telkom's monopoly on fixed line services... so more than a decade later, we finally get this disaster called Neotel, yet they only supply wireless services? They should have their license revoked and another company should be given a chance to provide land line services.

I seem to recollect that many of the large telcos, the original responders to the SNO tender, pulled out due to government demands. The government then stitched together a bunch of unlikely players to form a SNO. This caused a lot of unhapiness and the whole SNO thing pretty much unravelled until TATA got effective control. At this time the SNO was going to make use of various non telkom parastal owned backbones in order to get up and running. The minister in charge then backtracked on this agreement and formed a government owned company whos only asset were these assets, which were then rented back to the SNO.

Are you still wondering why the whole thing works so badly?

Point taken, but that is no reason for shocking service.
 
So today I tried to terminate my Neoconnect prime subscription. I was disconnected from the agents like 5 times, the Neotel agents all know about the problem which they say was on their end and promised each time to call me back if the call is dropped. After five attempts I still await that call back!!! For a telecoms company not to get their own call center right says a lot about their service to the public.

I will get this crap cancelled!!!!! GRRR
 
Not rally, i've openly advertised my details on here time and time again, just about every thread has my details somewhere in it, if the people don't take advantage of that and try take it up with me, then they can remain frustrated until i can get in touch with them.

I've never turned someone away that approached me.

I admire your service effort, well done .... I am referring to the Neotel product failing the customers as well as guys like yourself!

Anyway what are the chances of uncapped Wimax at Hatfield PTA. Whats on offer, costs?
