C&C Generals & Zero Hour or Deluxe Edition

Hi all,

I ordered C&C Generals Deluxe Edition from Ebay.co.uk and it arrived this morning, I'm only home in like 2/3 hours but what I was curious about was;

Has anyone gotten this to work in Windows 7, or specificially, 7 64bit. ?!?

Obviously, I'll find out later, but I'm curious if anyone has tried and can just YAY or NAY me quickly.

Ok, got home, installed the game.

It worked immediately, but clicking on multiplayer said I had to download an update, but then it wouldn't download the update so I googled a bit and I found this url (full of EA patches) http://largedownloads.ea.com/pub/patches/ so I downloaded the patch http://largedownloads.ea.com/pub/patches/Generals/Generals_ZeroHour_v104_English.exe and installed it and then the game seems to work alot better and I can use the MP option.
