C&C Tiberian Twilight

Hah WTF? A required constant internet connection is DRM. Isn't it? :-)

For the single player campaign it sure is DRM in my mind! Forcing people to be online for multiplayer is obviously expected...but what about a LAN game - have to be online for this too when it's obvious that many of us enjoyed the previous iterations in LAN environments. Ah well I think we're numb from this now after Starcraft 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 also got the "jacked in" requirement. Still holding thumbs for offline single player campaign in SC2..just too scared to look online for the answer.

I love DRM's because DRM's like everything else PC related can be cracked... just piss enough people off and 'cracks' will appear ;)

If people buy these games that have "online DRMS" then we are supporting it and more companies will push it.
STOP BUYING THESE GAMES.
I'm a huge C&C fan, I own every single C&C game, but I will NOT buy this one... screw EA!

Generals and its expansions were the best. Try the beta for this one, got boring at level 20, but must say the lag to the main server wasn't bad. Rather invest in sc2 or bc2 :D

Fear not! I will not buy a game that forces me to be online (especially for it's single player campaign). I do feel your frustration with others that are supporting Electronic As$es by buying the game.

Finished the game in 8 hours. I have played every C&C game since the beginning and I cannot believe they ended the series like this. The storyline is completely undeveloped and you finish feeling... unsatisfied. It feels very much like EA wanted to make a tactical simulator and shoved it into a C&C to get a response from the public. EA you morons we wanted more of the same with good level design and a COMPLETE storyline not this EXPERIMENT!!!
Don't waste your money buying this game unless you wanna do multiplayer, get a budget version in a couple of months, you aren't missing anything.

I've been bouncing around the forums and such over the last few days and I've seen many many MANY reports of how this game is HORRIBLE as hell... *sad sad sad*

Yes I bought the original - I really enjoyed the CNC universe....

Anyway, while the permanent online issue only affectted my gameplay once, I too feel used by EA. After the hype that this is it, the final, the grand end... FAIL.

Not even my 7 year old tells such poor stories !!!!

Looking forward to the multiplayer, as the unit limitation and class dependancies will change a lot of strategy.

Did a bit of looking for this, checked all the shops in V&A (Waterfront, CPT) today and found nothing.

No one even got stock of the game! hahahahahaha!
