This very exciting role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, involving developing and integrating applications and systems, including public facing applications, to a very high standard.
You will be working collaboratively within a small agile team on various projects, including coding, deployment and maintenance. The company prides itself on the quality of its technology and solutions.
Skills & Requirements Responsibilities:
• At least two years of experience in software development
• Coding skills in .Net C# and SQL Server
• Desirable skills include Agile, TDD and BDD
• Commercially driven: seek, understand and challenge the commercial rationale for products and features
• You thrive under pressure and against tight deadlines, and can make pragmatic but sustainable professional decisions
• Collaborative: you enjoy working in tandem with business stakeholders to deliver great products
• Experienced in the full software project life cycle
• Delivery oriented – you don’t consider it done until it meets customers needs
• Self-motivated - you seek context and prioritises, rather than permission
Responsibilities
• Extend and maintain existing and new software systems - coding in C#
• Planning, estimating, and continuously improving code quality, system design and process
• Work with the business to understand and implement complex requirements
• Work in an Agile environment, assisting in the move towards Continuous Deployment
• Keeping a constant eye on changing industry ideas and practices, and monitoring emerging technologies
