You guys. If we were advertising for a graphic designer, would it also be weird to ask to see their design portfolio? Same thing here. So by "some code" I mean not an entire project but enough to see if you follow standards and how you go about things. It's not Rocket Surgery.

If you are going to decide whether or not a candidate is suitable for a company based on "some code", then you need to reevaluate your selection criteria. There is no context either.

Thanks for your feedback, but the CV and the code plus the first telecon would lead to an interview. It helps us whittle out chancers.

That is quite interesting.

Don't hear of too many agencies operating in that area.

Do you guys start work as early as 10am with a 2 hour surf-break after a 1 hour lunch break? :p
