Cache server for Vodacom HSDPA service?

Was just wondering if Vodacom would later consider installing a cache server, cos we all frequently download AVG updates, drivers, Microsoft updates, Mac updates (for Landyman), etc.

Seeing that Windows XP SP3 & Windows Vista SP1 will surface later this year + Microsoft Office 2007 with its monster 300MB updates....

Yes, even cached data needs to be transmitted over backhaul links and the radio networks etc.

well, as long as local usage pricing doesn't change it won't make a difference, only maybe speedwise
