Cage Fighting in RSA

Hey there, im looking to do a write up about the world of Mixed Martial Arts/Cage Fighting scene in South Africa during journalism course honours this year and
i was wondering if I could have some basic info on the scene as it stands in RSA at the moment just to point me in the right direction..

Basically im just wanting to know what the main league/s is/are? Anything similar to UFC?
Do we have a points or ranking system? If so, who is at the top?
Do we have regular big fights?
Is there a belt/title that one could work towards?
Who are the main sponsors of such events/leagues?
Is there any competition between the leagues/systems/fighters?
Are there any well known names that run any system that is in place?

Any answers are really appreciated or any other guiding information would be really helpful!

A question, is the EFC the biggest league at the moment? What others leagues are there? Whos is their biggest rival or competitor?
