Hi All

I use the built in calendar app to manage my appointments, which in turn is configured with my Google account so I can easily sync between my other devices. My only problem is that when I send invites it uses my gmail email address and off course people reply there. Can one set this up to use to use another address, like my work address?

Thanks,
R

Does your work email support calendars ? It needs to be an IMAP or Exchange account.

Setup your work email on your device.

I take it this is an iOS device.

Settings -> Mail, Contacts,Calendars

Under the Calendars section change the default calendar to your work address.

No, it's a basic email setup (through MWeb as far as I know). I don't mind using Google Calendar, it would just be a little more convenient/professional to have invites come from my work address instead of my personal gmail. I'm using it on my MacBook.

Is there anything I can fiddle with to make this work or is it a no-go?

Thanks,
R

You'd need to set up a new calendar with the address that you want to use and make sure that calendar is selected when you send out the invites.
