I am not sure if this is a Cell C issue or an iPhone 5 issue but it is starting to become a problem. I have had the phone since launch with no problems, but of the last few weeks calls keep failing.

It will usually happen about a minute or so into the call (for both making calls and receiving), the line will just die, but the counter for how long the call has been keeps going. Then after about 15s the call ends and it mentions 'call failed'. Is anyone else having this issue?

I have just turned off LTE, will see if that helps. Not sure how to update my carrier settings though?

Give this a try.

To update the carrier settings go to Settings -> General -> About. Scroll Down and you should get a pop up that says carrier settings are available for download.

After that process is down (whether or not carrier settings are available). Follow the next step.

Go to settings -> Cellular -> Cellular Data Network. Change the APN under Cellular data to "internet".

After all this is done, hold the sleep/wake button and home button for 10 seconds (until you see the Apple logo).

I'm in the same boat. Doesn't even let me call at all sometimes. It's becoming really annoying (LTE is off permanently, latest carrier settings)

Also have the same issues recently - iPhone 5 + Cell C

Same for 3g internet... just hangs the whole time (with full reception and 3g)
