Call Forwarding Spam Call Filter From Android Device to iOS Device

Hi there,
Would it be at all possible to setup a kind of call forwarding spam call filter from an Android phone (since Android devices can actually block spam calls) to an iOS phone?
Idea is just to leverage the spam call blocking functionality of an Android device with a third-party app like True Caller or Robokiller and have the device forward legitimate calls to my iOS device since iOS devices are not able to block spam calls, just screen them.

Just going over the logic. One of the unanswered questions I have is how Android dialer service handles call forwards. It may be that once a call forward is setup that calls just indiscriminately get forwarded without it getting filtered through the third-party app first.

Call forwarding is done on the network side of things and not the device itself.

I doubt that there is a software solution for this as it is not really needed.

Have you tried Begone?

I saw it show up on our App Store recently after trying a few in the past, all not working as intended especially for neighbour dialling.

This one however is a native-built app with only donations via IAP, let’s you set up both block and screening lists, and seems to be working reliably, as in my testing, numbers from a recent abused range haven’t been coming through but it can be difficult to gauge that fact since these won’t how up as recent calls anymore or get logged, only when you want to screen.

Worth a shot, I’ve maintained a large list and just kept adding on to it to good success, but I fear it might get too out of hand and might consider totally blocking everything outside of special contacts and requests. It’s completely understandable if you only want something like TrueCaller or Hiya to maintain such a list and actually block them, I just personally don’t trust them.
