just done a stupid thing ... lol
2 weeks ago got myself the HP nw9440 laptop .... flippen monster machine.
gave my old hp to the wife, moved my hsdpa card to the new machine, installed the version 7 dashboard, upgraded to latest firmware on my option card, install was perfect, and the last two weeks flawless 3g connection... (well besides going over my gig by like 500 megs already)
well last night i was fiddling.... playing around with hp's included softwares and things which are almost built into the OS. suddenly found myself in the middle of a massive install of like 500 drivers for this and that... it was just installing things at a crazy rate. i hit cancel... would you like to cancel... dammit yes. well it cancelled.... no problem
but now, i cannot log on anymore. laptop sees the card. dashboard sees the card.... but keeps saying "acquiring". if i go to network connections and right click on my 3gpreffered connection and hit connect, it connects then only holds for like 2 minutes before disconnecting.....
uninstalled, reinstalled the dashboard, same problem, tried dashboard v9, same thing, now im even getting the dreaded 619 errors again... lol
what have i done...
do i roll back to a previous restore point? how do i do that again? cant remember?
help me please oh wonderful people !!!!
