Calls being disconnected

Can someone please explain to me why my call gets disconnected everytime after 59 minutes. :mad: This has happened to me over 20 times already :confused: I have never been able to make a call longer than 59 minutes. Yesterday it did it twice (had to call the person three times), everytime it hits 59 minutes the call cuts, becomes very annoying.

The same thing happens to me. And its been like that for as long as i can remember.
 
It's an automatic disconnect on 1 hour, the rationale being that if you accidentally dial a number and leave it connected ( babies are specifically good at this!), you won't run up a bill the size of the national debt.

Very few people speak for longer than a hour at a time. I'm sure Vodacom would like more clients like you guys!
 
OMG Mr G you didnt know that? i knew that since i was like 12.... and it is irratating but i agree with Vodacoms rationale. i usually get disconnected 3 times in a call, so you can guess what my bill is like.
 
Business call package with 500 free minutes. Easy to make calls over 1 hour.

I did suspect that it could be a safety feature, but the point is why would the receiver (the person the accidentaly phone call was made to) keep it online. If there was a mistake number being dialed then the person receiving the call will hangup.
 
trust me if your are talking to a really hot guy that hour goes fast boy!

Hmm.....
This is wierd, from disconnected calls to pictures of some guy in Richards Bay, nice, the internet community just gets wierder every day :p
