Johannesburg - The 46664 and the Nelson Mandela Foundation on Monday urged people to support the creation of a day on which former president Nelson Mandela is honoured around the world every year.

I can't believe the gall that some people have. Mandela is great but we cannot expect the world to honor him in this way. I bet people in Peru can't even pronounce his name.

I bet most of the people in China or India have no idea who he even is and they represent like 99% of the population!

On Mandela Day, people around the world would be asked to spend 67 minutes of their time to do something which made a difference to the world around them.

Why 67 mins? Why not 46664 mins?

Yeah I dont get the 67 minutes thing. Whats the significance. Here in Australia people know who he is, but to be honest they dont really care about South Africa or her politics.

Maybe Hollywood will go for it, cause all the actors think he is a cool tourist attraction when they visit South Africa. You can just picture the scene when one celeb is saying to another one that they are going to South Africa, and the response is, "Oh are you going to visit Mandela while you there?"
