Hi All
I'm sitting in a little predicament, I have a Tablet with the Afrihost 3G SIM Card in it. It has gone "missing*" at my office. I'd like to know if anybody here has any idea how I can find out it last known location. The Afrihost connectivity report shows that it was connected as late as yesterday evening but it hasn't been seen since Tuesday morning.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v (GT-P7100). I have tried to use Android Device Manager (it can't contact the device) and I also have Avast! Anti-Virus on it with the Anti-Theft activated. (also cannot contact the device).
So I see from the detailed report from Afrihost that they can give me the Date/Time of the last connected session with it's IP from MTN. Does anybody know if there is a possibility if MTN can tell me (if not the exact location) but the general suburb in JHB where the last connection occurred.
If it's "lost" then it can only be at my office or at home. If it's "missing*" then there is a possibility that it has made its way to another suburb.
If anyone knows someone or some procedure that I can follow it'll be greatly appreciated. I have already asked Afrihost to assist but have had no response other than the detailed report so far.
