Can Anyone Recommend a 2003 pst repair Program ?

Have any of you ever recovered / fixed a 2003 pst with any 3rd party programs ? if so please can you provide name or link will be greatly appreciated

MS repair tool just removes all entries in affected areas, similiar to checkdisk. Cure by amputation. If you have recent backup, you are in better position. Try it, but on the copy of pst file, not original. I don't know if any third-party tools are better.

Heh sorry should've posted that I have already used scan pst and ms tool to no avail , the pst is corrupt , most forums suggest a 3rd party program thought maybe some one here had some luck with one , worst case scenario will try southbit

I've never lost a single bit of data using scanpst ?

Restart Windows and try again. Disable MS office autostart. Or boot from live CD and attempt to copy the file.

Use this application to see what has the file locked,

Once you have terminated the process the file will be unlocked, once unlocked make a copy.

Once a copy is made run scanpst again and attempt the repair, the repair is possibly failing as the file is locked.
