Can I be Traced?

You will need to get him/her to somehow release some personal info eg email address, cell number, ID would be ideal.

I had a similar issue and got him to slip out with some info and 2 hours later I was at the door. You will need a private investigator who knows what he is doing.

To avoid being traced be like the internet banking fraudsters, use a prepaid 3g account and throw away the sim when done. Or use an internet cafe or an open wireless network, there are so many.
 
Buy 4 disposable phones+4 disposable SIMs with a disposable laptop in cash and make sure there are no cameras where you buy them, works only for the day if no one notices.

Hook all 4 up to the laptop write yourself a program to swap between connections to reset the IPs be in a Car with a fake number plate. Takes them time to get the IPs so let’s say you are browsing the USA’s defense force securities desk with a guy called Tomas’s PC… and he gets the IT dude to start tracking you they need to go through channels first and get the info who this IP belongs to so try and confuse them a bit because once they lock on… they can triangulate your signal so turn 1phone off and connect with phone 2 and continue to brows and swap between them as you go. They can trace the hardware’s serial and SIMs so depending on how crafty they are till they figure that out you got about 4tries or whatever the amount of phones and SIMs you got and the limit of USB connection you can handle (you can spoof the laptops Macs). So any ways you have to be on the move if they are going to send guys too your location and if they really get pissed, they will have a live satellite tracking you as well. This is where your fake number plate helps so pull in to a shopping mall make sure you are wearing a beard or something to hide your face, you need to get mixed in the crowd or go to the bottom of the mall, because they have heat and other types of tracking as well :O don’t forget the mall cam’s.
That’s really dumb way of doing it ;) simple way sit out side in your car and join a random dude’s wireless network, most people don’t set the range on their wifi so it is a fee for all :D once you get in ;)

That’s the USA for yah :D but here in the real world don’t use any thing not disposable or linked to you.
So only the cops can find you, I don’t think S.A has real time tracking white hats so :D …
People won’t come after you if you “say stuff,” they will just think you joking around it is the internet of course.
When you commit web crimes they will check the method you connect by going to the isp and the isp will tell them Mr.Shipo pays for this and that and same with Telkom line rentals.
So steal some one’s phone and use it in a park+laptop or pay as you go +cash phone, cash crusaders works the best. The best is tap into the line itself if you have some phone equipment ;)
 
I was on a webcam based chat site, therefore realtime video chat via microphone or text. You can open any of the other people webcams that are in the room at that time and chat. One chat user text me in the room and said he got my IP adress and that he will visit me. That is not a good idea!!! I know that a website can log your IP, then all the above apply. But can a person that is at the same time as I in chatroom obtain my IP with some or the other diviant scheme just by being in the same room, or opening my cam?
 
but of course if you do something in the not too distant future and you didnt want to get traced and then people just happen to see this thread .... then yes you will get traced ... lol

pay someone to find him.
We had a stolen sim traced, and in court could not get the persons name, but service provider knew who it was, they trace him via signal to his house. Fact is, the sim were kept alive to catch mr, but our law protected him.
 
Everyone probably conveniently forgot that you need to RICA prepaid sim cards (including the data ones) so you don't need an IP address at all to trace them or know who they are

Is it possible to find my location by way of IP address or something like that?

I know it says Somerset West in my details, but can I be found in such away that the person trying to find me comes knocking at my front door?

Depends on where you are and how badly they want you.

If you're behind numerous proxies, TOR and/or using an anonymous Wifi access point with some form of MAC spoofing - it would be difficult or impossible. You could use someone else's Wifi for example - eg park outside their house and use their unsecured network to do bad things.

If you're in an ex-Soviet Republic and you sign up for an anonymous internet account there - yes, no-one will probably be able to trace you. Add a proxy to that, same thing.

Use an anonymous wi-fi hotspot to connect with Skype (using a hacked/stolen account) to an offshore hacked/stolen dial up account and then use that to do bad things online.

Paid VPN proxy. Some of these will not respond to foreign court orders. They only respond to local ones, for example some services in Sweden or USA. You may say some anti-Malema things and the SA govt may want you but when they approach the Swedish or US authorities those will tell them to f-off because free political speech is legal in those countries and they won't recognise our requests. I guess if they badly want you the SA govt would bribe someone or send a team to that ISP/Host and get the details that way or lobby the government until they give in - doubtful but possible.
