Can I order Telkom ADSL online

Hi there. I would like to know if I can order a Telkom ADSl account online like how you would do with Mweb,Afrihost,Openweb,Webafrica..
Will Telkom send you the ISP login details etc..like the other service providers do.

You just want the data? If so, stick with Afrihost, Crystal Web and Axxess. Avoid Open Web

Unfortunately it is not possible for customers to order Telkom Internet accounts online at present.

This may become more feasible to do once the current migration of customers from the old order management system to the newer version (which was piloted in December, with migration having started in ernest in March and due to be completed by September). Yes, an online ordering/activation feature should have been (re-)implemented years ago, but it wasn't and now isn't the best time to do it. (It was possible to order/activate up to about 2009, but to align ordering of bundles, functionality had to be changed that made it difficult to keep this).

Activation of the account on our side is real-time whenever the order is captured, so if you call the call centre (preferably from a land line), you should receive your username and password by SMS or email before the end of the call.
