Can I reduce my speeding fine?

Hi guys, I just recieved a speeding fine in the mail today , I have to pay R1000 I was going 89km/hr in a 60 zone. I was wondering is there anyway I can reduce this.

Wait for summons then go to the magistrates court. There is someone that deals with fines and usually gives a 50% discount. Well that was in Cape Town in the 90's anyway.

First 30 days you get 50% discount. After that you need to go to the magistrates court and motivate a reason. Usually you can get 50% off and if you have a extremely valid reason might get wipe off.

I got a fine Driving 100km/h in 80km/h zone. They was no sign that speed reduced and 2km before there was 100km/h sign. I produced dash cam and it got wipe off.
